Policies

• Payment is due on the 1st visit. Payment options: Cash, check made out to Amanda Naylor (Not my business name.) or Venmo There is a $30 fee for NSF checks. (Non-sufficient funds). 

•1st meet and greet is free, there is a $10 fee for additional meet and greet request.

•Dogs will not be allowed to run free outside except in your own fenced and secured yard.

•I do not accept any responsibility for cats that have free access to or live outside.

•I only accept and return keys in person, unless client request otherwise. 2 sets of keys are required at 1st meet and greet, 1st key for the pet sitter and the other for emergencies. If 2nd copy of key is not provided, I can make a copy at owner’s request for a $5 fee plus the cost of the key copying (which client will receive a receipt for). Lockboxes on the owner’s property for keys is the best option. If you do not want Pawz Up Pet Sitting, LLC to hold on to keys for future visits there is a $10 charge for key drop off & pick up.

•My regular operating hours are 7 AM to 9 PM. An additional $15 fee PER visit is added to any request outside of operating hours.

•I reserve the right to deny services to any client and policies are subject to change at any time. This is due to insurance liability.

•Please request, cancel, or make changes to service by email, text or phone calls.

•Requests for service should be made with as much notice as possible. I will do our best to accommodate all requests.

•Regarding excessive heat/wind: walks may be shortened and/or the majority of a visit may be provided indoors. Regarding snow and ice: if County, State, and Federal entities close for the day, assume that my ability to provide service is limited.

•In the event the pet sitter has a personal emergency, responsibility of pet(s) may be shared with another pet sitter who works for Pawz Up Pet Sitting, LLC or the emergency contact provided by client. The client will always be informed of these events.

•In the event of a pet emergency/sickness, pets will be taken to a veterinary hospital. Client will be contacted first but if client is not reachable, emergency contact will be notified. Vet info provided by client will be first choice but depending on severity of situation the pet may be taken to the nearest vet. Client is responsible for reimbursing 100% of all vet charges incurred by Pawz Up Pet Sitting, LLC. 

•A $10 charge per visit will apply for each pet sitting visit on the following holidays: 

Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day, New Year’s Eve & Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.

Cancellation Policies:

Pawz Up Pet Sitting, LLC requires 48 hours’ notice when canceling any visits to receive a refund or credit. If 48 hours’ notice is NOT given you may be charged 50% of the remaining visits (or given a credit depending on the situation).

Cancellation during the holidays: Sometimes I am forced to refuse service due to unavailability during the holiday season. For this reason, you will be charged 100% of the remaining visits during a holiday week (Holiday week: 3 days prior to & 3 days after the listed holidays. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day.
